The Demographica leadership team is a diverse team that has decades of experience in running marketing agencies and are fully accountable in delivering world class B2B marketing communications.
As the Founder and CEO of Demographica, Warren is responsible for setting the company strategy in line with achieving its goal of being the greatest B2B marketing agency in the world.
A core focus of his is to keep Demographica’s capabilities on the cutting edge of B2B marketing agency services with the goal of driving results for all its clients.
He has had the honour of being a judge for the Business Marketing Association’s B2B Awards and the Global DMA Echo Awards.
In South Africa, he was the Chairman of the Direct Marketing Association’s Assegai Awards and was a judge for the Internet Advertising Bureau’s Bookmark Awards. He also sits on the Advisory Council of the Harvard Business Review covering B2B marketing.
Previously he was Chairman of the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa and sat on the board of the Johannesburg chapter of Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) as the Marketing and Communications Chair. Outside of Demographica, his passion is African contemporary art, and he is both a private dealer and an avid collector. His two recommended professional books would be ‘Ogilvy on Advertising’ and ‘Purple Cow’.
In her current role as the MD and Director of Demographica, Lauren leads, manages,
integrates, and grows the business. She is accountable for ensuring that the business is guided at a strategic level to ensure it meets its objectives and that it is geared for growth.
She is known for her business acumen, excellent grasp of financials, commitment to quality, effective leadership style and unshakeable integrity. With her ‘consider it done’ attitude, and passion for developing people, she is able to match her keen sense of pragmatism with empathy, humour and insight.
She is the proud recipient of numerous awards including the ‘One of the 32 most Influential Women in SA Digital Marketing’ and ‘A Digital All Star’ award in 2016. She also received the ‘Country winner in the Business and Professional Service Sector of CEO’ and ‘Global most Influential Women in Business and award’ in 2018/2019. A strong believer in a healthy work/life balance, when she is not working, Lauren can be found sailing the oceans in the Med and Mountain biking in SA. As someone who enjoys reading, she is currently reading ‘Dare to Lead’ by Brene Brown and ‘The Great CEO Within’ by Matt Mochary.
In his role as Head of Client Success, Ongopotse is responsible for the synergy between the agency and its clients. He manages and drives the Client Success centre in the agency to ensure it retains and grows its clients. He has over 15 years experience in the ICT Industry ranging from consulting to operational management, and his personal ambition is to take his learnings and become a notable business leader, influencing generations to come.
Career highlights include launching a chatbot service, being appointed as the chairperson of the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (DMASA) and forming part of the WASPA board responsible for introducing strong reforms into the mobile market in South Africa.
Outside of Demographica he is happily married and the proud father of two beautiful girls. He loves to read books such as ‘How can a Man Die Better-Robert Sobukwe’ by Benjamin Pogrund and ‘Tech Adjacent’ by Mushambi Mutuma. His all-time favourite is ‘Good to Great’ by Jim Collins.
He can also be found watching NBA basketball and shopping for sneakers in his spare time!
As the Financial Director at Demographica, Bianca is a strategic financial business leader, responsible for ensuring the financial success of Demographica. Her role entails creating an agile approach to navigating challenging economic times and exponential growth.
Transformation is a critical component in the South African economy and a priority that is closest to her. She takes great pride in overseeing Demographica’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, transformation plan as well as the B-BBEE scorecard. Bianca joined Demographica in 2019 as the Financial Director and became Demographica’s first black ExCo member at the age of 31. Bianca is an authentic trusted leader that always strives for excellence, is future-thinking and makes an impactful difference.
A quote that resonates with her is: “If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.” – Steve Jobs. And the motto that best encapsulates one of her core values is that of Mercedes Benz – ‘The best or nothing’.
Bianca has her South African volleyball colours, and numerous Natal caps. She has a love for travelling and adventure and exploring new diverse cultures. Spending time with family and friends is a must for her. She strives to be the same person at work and outside of work and believes in always being authentic, trustworthy and treating people with respect.
As Head of Operations, Natalie is responsible for the operational processes, systems and team interactions in the agency’s quest for optimal client satisfaction, exceptional delivery, and turnover growth.
As someone who believes you need to plan for success, she is intentional in the approach to her career. She always has her hand up to get stuck into doing the work and her leadership style encourages interaction and communication, in the name of team development and motivation. She first joined Demographica in 2013 and has, over the years, supported the business in its growth into a full-service B2B marketing agency.
She is the longest-standing member of the Demographica ExCo team, which is testament to her skill in growing small business and streamlining and optimising processes – she is a natural problem solver.
Natalie spends her spare time with her family and after achieving her WBFF Fitness pro card in 2018, continues to be a fitness professional. She is passionate about boxing and enjoys all sports in general. Friends are integral to her world. Her favourite reads are: ‘The Hard Thing About Hard Things’ by Ben Horowitz and ‘Basic Black’ by Cathie Black.

Our journey began in 2006 under the name Global Acquisition – a dynamic anti-establishment startup focused on smart, targeted digital communication using big data analytics to drive marketing communication. Over the following few years, the entrepreneurial nature of the company led to an evolution of the business model and was then restructured in 2010 to form Demographica.
It was around this time that Demographica founder, Warren Moss, read an article published in the Harvard Business Review titled “An Anthropologist Walks into a Bar”, the study described how companies were making marketing breakthroughs by using anthropology to inform sales and marketing strategy. Coupled with a focus on B2B marketing, the article changed the course of Demographica’s history.
From these disruptive and innovative beginnings, Demographica has grown into a leading and global award winning B2B marketing agency. Today, Demographica is one of the largest employers of anthropologists in South Africa and boasts a client roster of not only South Africa’s largest B2B brands but also, some of the biggest B2B brands on earth.
