Design Intern

Demographica is a marketing agency that helps large B2B companies grow their revenue in Africa by transforming how they engage buyers, grow customers, and enable their marketing and sales teams. We are a mid-sized and we work across a variety of touchpoints in the B2B marketing and purchase journey – from brand positioning to engagement programmes and stakeholder experience projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • To ensure the smooth running of all internal activities which ultimately¬† result in delivery to the client
  • To assist in solving problems, drafting internal and external communications
  • Administrative tasks such as contact reports, weekly status report control, and support in the running of status meetings (internal)
  • Support of all stakeholders especially HOD, Client Partners/Project Directors, and Project Managers
  • Supporting Project Managers (or team) on small projects from inception to completion under their guidance
  • You are required to develop an understanding of the full range of services Demographica offers and be able to work with Centre of Excellence to learn and grow¬†

Additional area of focus:

  • Exposure to project briefs, budgets, and monthly billings
  • Understanding of the B2B production process across all communication channels including print, digital, mobile, activations, and DM
  • Participating in briefing and brainstorming sessions

Day-to-Day expectation:

  • Support team to enable execution of deliverables to manage day-to-day activities relating to the client account
  • To ensure the smooth running of all internal activities which ultimately result in delivery to client
  • To assist in solving problems, drafting internal and external communications
  • Ensure regular communication and understand agency liaison with clients by supporting colleagues (keeping a record of all communication) and recording discussions/requests etc in writing always.
  • Understand and groom your eye for detail in terms of standard of completion of projects
  • Monitor, check and update all reports (ensuring all supporting communication is aligned: contact and status reports) and ensure up to date reports are shared internally or saved in appropriate place
  • The ability to think on your feet and immerse yourself in multiple tasks and be able to keep your wits about you
  • A Multi tasker with a passion for deadlines is a must

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • An industry relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications or Advertising
